Our Toddler room is made up of children ages 18 months to 3 years.  We celebrate mixed ages because it leads to a richer environment that mimics everyday life.  Working with peers who are both younger and older is a life skill that we are happy to foster.  In Montessori Toddler rooms, movement and independence are encouraged from the earliest stages.  

Our Toddler room never has more than 12 students making for an intimate environment.   Our Toddler teachers have many years of experience in working with young children and in Montessori environments.  We know how hard it can be, especially at this age, to leave your child in the hands of someone else.  That is why we communicate on a daily basis using an online app.  On the app, we share information about food consumption, diapering, sleeping, and activities each and every day.  We even send a few pictures so you can see what your child is doing while here at Mountainside Montessori.
