Parts of a Plant

In the next few days, your child will receive an envelope in the mail. There will be petals or a flower, a button, a stem and a piece of yarn for the roots.

To complete the project you'll need glue, a piece of paper and two coloring tools (green and brown).

In our classroom, we provide the students with a control that they can use to complete their work. By giving them a control, they are able to complete the work independently. This photo can be used for the control.

In addition to this lesson, you'll receive a couple sunflower seeds that you can plant and some coloring pages for parts of a plant. Enjoy!
